Miss California was hard done by, apparently, and now she’s writing a book to right all those wrongs.

Booed by some and cheered on by others, Carrie Prejean or Miss California, is best known for that controversial answer to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton’s gay marriage question. Well, according to Prejean, that answer unfairly lost her crown and and she’s writing a tell all book with ultra-conservative publisher Regnery.

Proudly championing the ‘modern conservative movement’ says the publisher’s website, the Regnery’s president told E!Online that [Prejean] wanted to write a book about freedom of speech and the double standard that seems to exist when someone speaks their mind and doesn’t happen to be politically correct or consistent with what a crazy Hollywood celebrity thinks is the right answer.

And according the the publisher, ‘writing’ the book is no exaggeration. It’s not one of these things where she’s only the face and it’s not her words. She’s writing it, president, Marji Ross, told E!Online.

Still Standing is the reported title of the model’s foray into the world or words, with the finished product due out in November.
