Madonna Reconciling With Brother Christopher Ciccone: "

Madonna has extended an olive branch to the brother who once published a tell-all book about her.

The “Into The Groove” singer famously fell out with her younger brother, Christopher Ciconne, after he wrote the 2008 book Life With My Sister Madonna, which branded Madge a control freak and alleged her then husband Guy Ritchie was a homophobe responsible for the breakdown of his relationship with his sister.

“The Madonna I once knew is lost to me for ever, I am sorry for her and us,” Christopher wrote.



Madonna was outraged with the publication, but is now making steps toward speaking with her brother again – even sending him a few emails. Madonna’s divorce from Guy late last year has helped cool her attitude toward her brother, a source told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper.

“Madonna did it more for her family than for herself. Her feud with Chris was creating huge tension within the family so she decided to be the bigger person,” an insider close the Material Girl has revealed.

“At one point Madonna wanted all the family to cut off Chris – but her father wasn’t willing. It’s been a nightmare ever since. She’s calmed down about the book and had time to think. She realizes blood is thicker than water and has said she will meet with him this year in LA.”
