So this is why 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria Parker flew to London: she was attending the Noble Gift Gala. It's a fund raising event for children's causes.

Eva also received the Humanitarian Noble Gift Award for her work with Eva's Heroes, a charity she founded to assist children with special needs.

'I was extremely fortunate to grow up with an intellectually disabled sister. My mother became a special education teacher because of her and therefore I have been involved with all facets of this disability since I could walk and talk.'

Good for her! Doesn't Eva look fantastic? The dress is gorgeous: LOVE the color.

After the gala, Eva changed into a sleek black dress to go to the Cuckoo Club, where she celebrated her 35th birthday. Happy Birthday :)
